The Chrysalis Foundation
The Chrysalis Foundation exists as a Social Enterprise. The objectives are:
1. To reduce levels of offending, reoffending and other anti-social behaviour by:
a) providing a holistic development and rehabilitation programme for offenders, those at risk of offending and people with anti-social behavioural problems
b) promoting positive behaviour and awareness of the need for a lifestyle change
c) facilitating the personal development of
offenders, those at risk of offending and those with anti-social behavioural problems d) improving access to housing and working with families of offenders and those at risk of offending to help them provide a stable and supportive home environment.
2. To help people marginalised by unemployment, criminal or other anti-social behaviour, to reintegrate into society by:
a) working with Harnessing Potential Limited and government agencies to provide training and skill based programmes, ongoing support, mentoring and coaching in life skills
b) improving access to suitable and sustainable employment opportunities through work placements and the opportunity to achieve new qualifications
c) establishing community and support centres for ongoing support and training.
3. To help and support families affected by unemployment, criminal or other anti-social behaviour by:
a) working with Harnessing Potential Limited and government agencies to provide training and skill based programmes to enable them to deal with the challenge of living with offenders, people at risk of offending and people with anti-social behavioural problems
b) assisting them to provide a stable and supportive home environment for family members affected by unemployment, criminal or other anti-social behaviour.
